One of the National Ice Hockey League’s youngest teams, the London-based Haringey Huskies were founded in 2017. They currently compete in the leagues Division 2, taking over the spot of former Haringey Racers to play against teams such as Cardiff Fire and Basingstoke Buffalo. The team also took over the Racers’ home ground of Alexandra Palace, which provides space for up to 1,750 sports fans around the ice rink. It sits in Wood Green to provide plenty of sporting action, alongside other entertainment to Londoners. The Huskies were the product of a desire to create a team in Haringey that sported a collaborative ethic between management and players. They aim to continue their progress, build on their team and provide fans with enjoyable experiences on game nights.
