A welcome addition to Manchester’s vibrant and colourful music scene, The Stoller Hall combines intimacy and closeness with spectacular design and supreme technical attributes. This RIBA award-winning venue is part of Chetham’s School of Music and first opened its doors to the public in spring 2017. Whether you’re into jazz, folk or classical music, or enjoy comedy, The Stoller Hall is a venue that will impress audiences with diverse tastes. It boasts stunning architecture designed by Stephenson STUDIO and outstanding acoustics by Arup. The venue has even become popular for business events and conferences, attracting reputable clients to take advantage of its facilities. One of the Hall’s core purposes is to provide an outstanding performance platform for students at Chetham’s School of Music - a prestigious school in the centre of Manchester offering a world-class education in music. Their Symphony Orchestra regularly showcase the talent of the school, taking to the Stoller stage for unforgettable performances. Since opening with a live broadcast of the BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’, recent performances include concerts by the Unthanks, jazz pianist Gwilym Simcock and scandi-pop starlet Susanne Sundfør, a two-week International Piano Series and multi-concert residencies with Manchester Collective and Manchester Camerata.
